what this is,and what it is not

Written in plain English rather than in legal language, because a page nobody can read protects nobody. Last updated 8 August 2026.

I

the whole thing in one paragraph

We are a price list, not a shop

Legal-Leaf Market reads the public product pages of hemp retailers and works out what each listing actually costs per gram. That is the entire service.

We hold no stock. We sell nothing. We take no payment. We ship nothing. We set no prices. When you buy, you buy from that shop, on their site, under their terms, and your contract is with them and not with us. If something goes wrong with an order (it never arrives, it is not what was described, you want a refund) that is between you and the seller. We can sometimes help you find the right contact, and we have no power beyond that.

II

how we get paid

Affiliate links, stated plainly

Most links out of this site carry a referral tag. If you buy after following one, the shop may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and any coupon shown is yours whether or not we earn anything.

What that money does not buy is placement. The default sort is cheapest per gram, and it is computed from the scraped price. A shop cannot pay to appear higher, because there is no mechanism by which they could. The ordering is arithmetic.

III

the numbers

What the prices and lab figures mean, and do not

Prices are scraped and can be wrong. They come from public product pages and may be stale, mid-change, or out of stock by the time you click. Shipping estimates are for comparison only and are not quotes. Always confirm the real price at checkout on the seller's site. If our number and theirs disagree, theirs is the real one.

Lab figures are read from the seller's own published certificates. Where a card shows a potency figure, we parsed a certificate for that specific product and checked that the report's own arithmetic reconciles. Where we could not, the card shows no figure rather than a guess.

The card also says what kind of document is behind it, a certificate for that product, a store-wide compliance sheet, or a link to the shop's lab-results page. Those are three different things and we do not merge them. The method is written up in What the Certificates Say.

We report what the lab said.
We do not vouch for the product.

We are not a laboratory and we do not test anything ourselves. A figure here is a faithful reading of a document the seller published, not our own verification of what is in the bag.

What we do not promise

Nothing here is a health claim. We make no statement that any product treats, prevents or cures anything, or that it is safe for you. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a medical question, ask a doctor.

Nothing here is legal advice, and a product appearing on this site is not a statement that it is lawful where you are. What may be bought, sold, shipped or received varies by state and sometimes by city, and it changes. Working out what applies to you is your responsibility, and if the answer matters, ask a lawyer in your state. The background is set out in The Seam, which is history and explanation, not advice, and not a compliance check.

You must be 21 or over to use this site. We do not verify age and we are not pretending to. If you are under 21, this is not for you.

The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it accurate and running, and we cannot promise it will be either. We are not liable for losses arising from relying on a price, a lab figure, an availability flag or anything else here, which is the honest position for a free service that reads other people's websites, not a clause we are hiding behind.

V

the boring but real bits

Content, conduct and the rest

Our writing is ours. The library pieces, the code and the comparison data are ours. Quote us with a link and we will be pleased. Republish a piece wholesale and we will ask you to stop.

Product names, images, brands and certificates belong to the shops and brands they came from, and appear here to identify what is being compared.

Do not scrape us into a competing price list, and do not hammer the site. Ironic, given what we do, so to be fair about it: if you want the data for something non-commercial, email and ask. We will probably say yes.

The wholesale page is a preview. It is not an offer to sell, there is nothing to order, and it may change or disappear.

If we change these terms, we will change this page and move the date at the top.

Contact

Everything, questions, corrections, takedowns, data requests, a price we have got wrong, goes to hello@legal-leafmarket.com.

Corrections are genuinely welcome. This site's only asset is that its numbers are right, so telling us one is wrong is doing us a favour, not picking a fight.
